The Works, Manchester

The Works is a huge brick culvert, measuring 3m, that channels Moston Brook into the River Irk. This large outfall stands out on maps. It even has its own via ferrata route. Inside, blue bricks line the bottom of the pipe. Above, red bricks form the upper section. These red bricks are now showing signs of wear.
