Bron Y Garth Hospital
The establishment traces its roots back to the Ffestiniog Union Workhouse, which was inaugurated in 1839. In 1930, it evolved into the Ffestiniog Public Assistance Institution and later became known as Bron y Garth Hospital when it joined the National Health Service in 1948. However, after services were moved to Ysbyty Alltwen, Ysbyty Bron y Garth ceased operations in 2009.
