The County Hotel

The County Hotel located on Alderley Road shut its doors in November 2009, leaving the site abandoned ever since. The structure has deteriorated significantly, suffering from various acts of vandalism and theft. Originally named 'Arden House' in the 1880s, it was a semi-detached residential villa surrounded by other Victorian homes, including 'Lindow Grove,' now called The Merlin, and 'Merchistown,' which has been transformed into 'Yesterdays,' a former nightclub.
